What this site contributes
The main Black Atlas site carries its capability descriptions, catalogue, and contact routes. This site adds original educational guides, a fictional interactive example, a glossary, and an inquiry checklist. Its pages are intended to help readers ask better questions and evaluate the limits of an answer.
The guides do not describe a live service running in the browser. They do not collect environmental telemetry, execute security tests, or generate findings about a visitor’s organization.
How sources are used
Identity and capability descriptions use current first-party pages. NIST and MITRE references provide general technical context. Links to those organizations are references, not claims of endorsement, accreditation, certification, or partnership.
Each substantive guide provides source links. Original editorial recommendations are presented as questions and preparation methods. A description of a capability is not presented as proof of a security outcome.
How to read examples and illustrations
All scenario diagrams and worked examples on this site are illustrative. They contain no client records or live environment data. No outcome, score, performance statistic, or testimonial is inferred from them.
The animated visualizations explain source lineage, unresolved paths, evidence comparison, and human authority. The framework illustration accompanies James Scott’s documented architectural role. Motion represents conceptual relationships; it does not display telemetry, infer approval, or reveal internal implementation.
